japanese vs finnish
Japanese: hai, aisenai - yes, not love
Finnish: hai, ai se nai - shark, oh it’s fucking
japanese vs polish
Japanese: daisuki - I really like you
Polish: daj suki (you say it the same way) - give me a bitch
The Japanese for both of them is wrong.
But it’s not? Like technically if you want to be a grammar schtick it’s not right completely, but like just in a casual commentary sort of way it IS mostly right? (Though to be fair a better translation of aisenai would be ‘can’t love’ I’ll give you that.)
daisuki is just “big like” as well. it needs to be in context, otherwise it means nothing.
